Self Improvement

This is for Three Word Wednesday
The words are alter, fond and tranquil

 I alter my ways
To discover what is best
For my future self

                                                                                                     Those I am fond of
Tell me I needed to change
And to better myself

Find tranquil times
Be loved and love in return
I'll be a good person

If you like it please share it.
Thanks

  1. I love the first stanza sometimes we need a change in perspective and certainly to stop repeating the same destructive behavior patterns nice job!

  2. My only goal this trip round the bubble is to be the best I can be no matter what might get thrown at me. Sometimes I win, sometimes I fail. I have a personal moment for each of the words above, and I think you've done a wonderful job here. Happily following, and thanking you for your visit in return! Here's to evolving! :)

  15. I like the flow and rhythm. Also the notion, or association, that for tranquility, there must be a reception and giving of love. Interesting in now you thought in writing this. Are you altering really for your better future self? Or because those you are fond of think you need to better yourself? Such an interesting thought process you have going here. I like it :-)
