This is for Three Word Wednesday
The words are alter, fond and tranquil
I alter my ways
To discover what is best
For my future self
Those I am fond of
Tell me I needed to change
And to better myself
Find tranquil times
Be loved and love in return
I'll be a good person If you like it please share it.
Thanks
I love the first stanza sometimes we need a change in perspective and certainly to stop repeating the same destructive behavior patterns nice job!
ReplyDeleteMy only goal this trip round the bubble is to be the best I can be no matter what might get thrown at me. Sometimes I win, sometimes I fail. I have a personal moment for each of the words above, and I think you've done a wonderful job here. Happily following, and thanking you for your visit in return! Here's to evolving! :)

Love how they flow... I especially like the last one.
ReplyDeleteA very good trio, I like the good intentions in the last.
ReplyDeleteCheck mine again - there's an addendum!!!!
I like the different takes, inside, outside, back to inside - and "be oved and love in return"
ReplyDeleteAdvice from those you are fond of is well given and should be well taken. Looks like a plan. Keep writing. I'll try to stop in and follow along.
ReplyDeleteYes, tranquility is so important. Nice use of the words.

Nice play on the prompt words. Wisdom lies within the haikus.
ReplyDeletePhew, I keep saying that I'll be good too, hope it works for you!
ReplyDeleteInteresting flow of thought! It works hun, no fear about that ;) Love your background here too, but I'm a renowned bookworm
ReplyDeletea lovely trio, nicely tied together.
ReplyDeleteThere are always things a person can work on. Perfection is illusive, but we are all human. I like your work, Andy.
ReplyDeleteI like the flow and rhythm. Also the notion, or association, that for tranquility, there must be a reception and giving of love. Interesting in now you thought in writing this. Are you altering really for your better future self? Or because those you are fond of think you need to better yourself? Such an interesting thought process you have going here. I like it :-)
ReplyDeleteWell crafted, and true, too.
ReplyDeleteI loved this. Short but powerful in its message. We should all aspire same.
