This is for Sensational Haiku Wednesday
This week it's a word I was previously unfamiliar with:
Fortitude
Persevere, endure
Though foresight shows sparse cheer
Chance it's deceit; hope
I chose the image based on the fact that the prompt reminded me of a song:
Tupac Shakur - The rose that grew from concrete
If you like it please share it
Thanks
Very lovely and great images as well the rose that grew from concrete.... certainly has fortitude!
ReplyDeleteI love that you post pictures with your haikus. It is just so appropriate!
ReplyDeleteI love this and the part "Chance it's deceit" perfect. Well done and the photo so goes with this. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteNicely done with your new word! Love the image too - very appropriate.
ReplyDeleteIt's a powerful word, don't you think? I like it. I think it scared some folks this week though, so next week's is happier!
Awh the image wouldn't load for me, just a white box with a red cross in the top corner.
ReplyDeleteI agree it's a powerful word encapsulated by perseverance and endurance in your haiku. :O)
Great job with your new word!
ReplyDeleteRunning late, I missed the deadline linky but here is mine nonetheless:
