I wrote this for Carry on Tuesday where we had to use the last words spoken by Cecil Rhodes before his death in 1902 "So little done, so much to do".
I've sat around
I've drunk a beer
They'll be round soon
Oh dear, oh dear
I look around
My house a mess
What will they think
Of my address
I'm frantic now
I try to swiftly clean
I wash the pots
I want then all to gleam
I look at the time
They'll be arriving soon
So little done
So much to do
If you like it please share it. Thanks.
Well done in sticking to the theme.

ReplyDeleteWhat I like about this is you kept it simple most so called poets ramble on.
ReplyDeleteJust like a masterchef keeping it simple brings out a master piece.
